CO2 Cap & Trade: Legislation designed for Energy Whores, Johns and Pimps
There’s so much to say about this subject, like why will some companies given so many emission credits that they can sell them to others? If everyone is so CO2 emission consciour, why don’t they just stop emitting? And why are extreme emitters allowed to just keep buying Emission Credits to keep on emitting? Government Efforts to “Supposedly” Stop or Slow Unproven Manmade (Anthropological) Global Warming Warming (now known as AGW) Will Cost Us A Bunch!
Federal, state and local legislation limiting supposed Manmade Global Warming Pollutants is one of the hottest topics on my mind right now, as it may be with you as well. Not only will these laws cost us all a lot more money just to live, but they are being enacted mostly by emotion, not science. An example is that California is now going to require vehicles in the 1995 era to undergo oxygen tests during normal Smog Checks. Shops will be required to buy editional test equipment and vehicles will undergo tests that they not previously been subjected to. Why? Simple, they want to get “older vehicles off the road” to reduce their AGW effect. Of course, these are the very vehicles that are still very useful to their owners and are as source of revenue to service shops. What nonsense, California!
